CCI relaxes commitment norms, extends filing window to 60 days

The Commission has eased the timeline for preliminary considerations of applications by it to 15 working days from the current seven. Also, the deadline to wrap up the entire commitment proceeding has been raised to 180 working days, with a provision for extension in complex cases, from the current 130 working days.
