India weather forecast: The India Meteorological Department forecasts heavy to very heavy rainfall across many regions. Jharkhand may experience isolated extremely heavy rainfall and thunderstorms with gusty winds. Bihar, Chhattisgarh, and East Madhya Pradesh are also expected to see heavy rainfall. Several other states will witness thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds. Squally weather is predicted over parts of the Bay of Bengal.
