HMT Watches clocks Rs 35 lakh in single-day Independence Day sales in Bengaluru

Government-owned HMT Watches recorded sales exceeding Rs 35 lakh on Independence Day as thousands of customers queued in Bengaluru for limited-edition and rare watches, Union Minister HD Kumaraswamy said. He said the response demonstrated HMT's enduring brand appeal and would support the government's efforts to revive its watch manufacturing operations.
