Ontario Tragedy: Woman dies after being ‘swept into the water’ in Mississauga, say police

A woman has died after being swept into Lake Ontario late Saturday night. Emergency crews responded to Jack Darling Memorial Park following reports of the incident. Search and rescue efforts located the woman in the water. She was transported to the hospital and later pronounced deceased. Authorities are currently working to notify her next of kin.
