Realtor murder suspect was jailed in Shaurya Chakra awardee killing case

A man jailed for the 2020 assassination of Balwinder Singh Sandhu is a suspect in a recent murder. Police state the fatal attack on Harjinder Singh stemmed from drug smuggling rivalries. The prime accused had built prison contacts for procuring smuggled weapons. Investigators seized handguns and bullet shells from the crime scene. Two co-suspects were arrested and a pistol was recovered.
