Nagpur experienced toxic air for half the summer, exceeding safety standards. PM10 levels breached national benchmarks on 46 days between March and May. This made Nagpur one of Maharashtra's most polluted cities during the period. Mumbai and Pune recorded significantly lower pollution levels during the same time.
