SC seeks Centre’s response on plea to bring Netaji Bose’s ashes from Tokyo

The Supreme Court has sought the Centre's response regarding Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose's ashes. His daughter, Anita B Pfaff, filed a plea for their return from Tokyo. The ashes are reportedly preserved at Tokyo's Renkoji temple. Many theories surround Netaji's disappearance in August 1945. The court issued a notice to the Centre for its reply.
