Nagaland CM writes to HM, urges greater parliamentary scrutiny on FCRA

Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio has written to Amit Shah regarding proposed FCRA amendments. He requested greater parliamentary scrutiny and wider stakeholder consultation on the changes. Rio highlighted apprehensions from various societal sections, especially the Christian community. Representations from the Nagaland Baptist Church Council and Bishop of Kohima were also mentioned. He asked for their concerns to be considered with due sensitivity.
