Britain is now ‌experiencing a ⁠flash drought ⁠caused by a combination of very low rainfall and ​higher temperatures. Rivers, reservoirs, and ​groundwater levels ​continue to decline ⁠while the continued hot and dry conditions are increasing the risk of wildfires, the government said.
