Amid disruptions, speaker Om Birla asks government, opposition to arrive at common ground to let House function

Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla expressed anguish over repeated disruptions in parliamentary proceedings. He urged the government and opposition to find common ground for debating key Bills. The Speaker noted the government agreed to a response from the Home Minister on student protests. Other opposition issues can also be discussed if the House functions without disruptions.
