Maruti Suzuki sees small cars, SUVs driving India’s auto market to 6.3 million

Maruti Suzuki forecasts passenger vehicle sales reaching six million units by FY31. This growth stems from renewed demand for small cars and strong SUV traction. The company is accelerating expansion plans across its manufacturing facilities. New production lines will increase total installed capacity significantly by FY31. Maruti Suzuki also plans to launch five new SUVs and invest in biogas plants.
