West Bengal TMC custodial death: Suvendu Adhikari closes IC, orders magisterial probe

West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari ordered an inquiry into a Trinamool worker's custodial death. The Inspector-in-Charge was closed, and the investigating officer suspended following the incident. Adhikari provided compensation and a job to the deceased worker's family members. He stated that police negligence was proven in the custodial death case. The Chief Minister also commented on Mamata Banerjee's recent visit to Halisahar.
