Assam flood toll rises to 99 as several districts remain inundated

Assam's flood death toll has now reached ninety-nine people across several districts. Devastating floods have heavily impacted multiple regions, causing significant loss of life. Cachar district has recorded twenty-two deaths, while Sivasagar reported ten fatalities. Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma visited flood-affected areas to review relief and repair works. He assured affected families of all necessary government assistance and rebuilding measures.
