Devdutt Padikkal scored an unbeaten century during India's warm-up match against Sri Lanka. Rishabh Pant and Dhruv Jurel failed to score significantly in favorable batting conditions. India finished the day at 357 for 8 after 90 overs. B Sai Sudharsan was ruled out of the series due to a toe injury. Manav Suthar also contributed 41 runs in his overseas debut.
