West Bengal pay panel proposes 5% annual increment, 11-year pension restoration

West Bengal's seventh pay commission will revise employee pay and benefits. It aims for pay parity with central government employees and improved service conditions. Annual increments may increase, and retirement benefits will be reviewed for updates. The health scheme will also see revisions with cashless treatment for beneficiaries. The commission will consider implementing revised pay from January 1, 2026.
