SC refuses to suspend life sentence given to Asaram's son Narayan Sai in 2013 rape case

The Supreme Court refused to suspend Narayan Sai's life sentence. Gujarat High Court must decide his appeal within three months. Sai's appeal against his rape conviction is pending before the high court. The high court previously dismissed his plea for bail. A Surat court sentenced Sai to life imprisonment in a 2013 rape case.
