Uzbekistan invites Indian firms for mining, minerals push ahead of PM Modi's visit
In a bid to enhance economic ties, Uzbekistan is inviting Indian investments into its mining and metallurgy sectors, highlighting lucrative avenues in gold, copper, uranium, and rare earth elements. As bilateral trade has already crossed the $1.3 billion mark, the goal is set at $2 billion by next year. Additionally, both countries are looking to foster cooperation in chemicals, renewable energy, pharmaceuticals, and automotive industries for deeper collaboration.
