EV industry to generate up to 40 mn jobs by 2030: Report

India's electric vehicle (EV) sector is expected to generate30-40 million jobs by 2030, with hiring likely to grow15-20% annually, according to an Adecco India report. The study says the industry is moving beyond vehicle manufacturing into a broader ecosystem driven by demand for specialised skills in engineering, energy systems and battery technologies.
