No debate, 3 minutes: Lok Sabha passes Appropriation Bill amid protests

Amid relentless protests from the opposition, the Lok Sabha approved the Appropriation Bill with remarkable speed. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, having introduced the bill, saw it passed almost instantly. Prior to this, she had also put forth the Taxation and Other Laws Amendment Bill, as opposition members continued their demonstrations and catchy slogans during the proceedings.
