Bangladesh PM invited as BIMSTEC chair amid India outreach to regional blocs

India, holding the BRICS chair, plans outreach to regional groups for its summit. Key organizations like BIMSTEC and ASEAN may receive invitations to attend. Leaders from these groups could visit New Delhi for the September summit. This initiative aims to champion the Global South's agenda effectively. All eleven BRICS members and partner countries will also participate.
