IUML's double standards exposed on Waqf Board stand, alleges CPI(M)

CPI(M) state secretary M V Govindan accused the IUML of double standards regarding Waqf Board appointments. He alleged the UDF government is aligning with BJP policies and weakening secularism. Govindan stated the government abandoned the previous LDF stance on the Waqf Amendment Act. He criticized the Chief Minister's claims about the Supreme Court's Waqf law petition. The party plans an extended state committee meeting for organizational review.
