US identifies soldier killed while disposing of downed Iranian drone in Iraq

Sergeant Michael Emmanuel Swinton died during a drone detonation in Iraq. He was killed in action on July 19 at Erbil Air Base. Swinton was assigned to Fort Bragg, North Carolina, and will receive posthumous awards. This incident follows two other US soldiers killed in Jordan recently. Those deaths were the first from direct Iranian fire in some time.
