BSNL announces satellite phone for Rs 1.34 lakh

State-run BSNL has launched a satellite phone priced at Rs 1.34 lakh. This initiative aims to extend communication services to remote defense and disaster response users. The satellite phone offers voice and SMS in areas without mobile network coverage. BSNL has been providing satellite phone services to the public since 2018.
