'Will not contest in Trichy bypoll, no desire for ministerial post,' says VCK chief Thol Thirumavalavan

Thol Thirumavalavan, VCK chief, will not contest the Tiruchirappalli East Assembly seat. He declined an offer to become a minister in the TVK cabinet. Thirumavalavan stated he will not participate in any by-elections. His support for TVK was to prevent President's rule. He remains committed to the DMK-led alliance and social justice.
