Aadhaar head to take additional charge as AI Mission CEO

Saurabh Vijay, currently heading the Aadhaar body, will soon assume additional charge as the CEO of the India AI Mission. This strategic, government-funded initiative which was approved in March 2024, aims to build an indigenous AI ecosystem. Vijay's appointment follows the departure of the previous CEO in April.
