Two arrested for trying to rob Coimbatore jewellery manufacturing unit employee of ornaments worth Rs 1 crore

Two youths were arrested by Ukkadam police for a daylight robbery attempt on a jewellery shop employee carrying gold worth approximately Rs 1 crore near Coimbatore Junction railway station. The employee was intercepted by three men on a motorcycle but managed to escape into a waiting car.
