CCI levies Rs 50 lakh penalty on Manipal Group for not disclosing stake hike in Aakash Educational Services

The Competition Commission of India has fined Manipal Group Rs 50 lakh. This penalty is for not disclosing stake increases in Aakash Educational Services. Manipal Health Systems, Manipal Education, and Medical Group India failed to notify the antitrust watchdog. They completed multiple transactions to raise their stake and rights in Aakash Educational Services Limited.
