Kazakhstan joins handful of nations to bring AI into classrooms, to roll out nationwide by 2029
Kazakhstan is set to integrate artificial intelligence into its schools. A decree signed on May 12 paves the way for AI in secondary education. By July 1, a detailed action plan for 2026-2029 will be approved. This plan focuses on personalized learning, digital infrastructure, and teacher training. Pilot projects will begin soon, with nationwide rollout expected.
