TVK legislator Prabhakar unanimously elected as Tamil Nadu Assembly Speaker

JCD Prabhakar has been elected as the new Speaker of the Tamil Nadu Assembly. His election was unopposed. Following tradition, leaders escorted him to the Speaker's chair. Prabhakar then oversaw the election of the Deputy Speaker, M Ravisankar, who also secured the position without opposition. The Assembly proceedings will now be conducted by the new Speaker.
