Deadly wildfires rage unchecked across Los Angeles, 100,000 ordered to evacuate

A new wildfire broke out late Wednesday in the Hollywood Hills area of Los Angeles after other fires in the region killed at least five people, destroyed hundreds of homes and forced authorities to issue evacuation orders to more than 100,000 people. City authorities reported "zero containment" due to dry, hurricane-force winds.
