Congress leader Sandeep Dikshit criticized Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal after the Lieutenant Governor permitted the Enforcement Directorate to prosecute him in the excise policy case. Dikshit expressed surprise over the delayed action and predicted AAP's defeat in the upcoming Delhi assembly elections. The ED alleges the excise policy was designed to benefit AAP leaders and involved kickbacks from liquor businesses.
