A colder airmass has moved into Acadiana, leading to some cold temperatures ahead. This morning, temperatures have reached the upper 30s, and even under mostly sunny skies, temperatures will only rebound into the mid-50s later this afternoon. A cold night expected tonight with clear skies and light winds. Readings could be in the low-mid 30s by Sunday morning. Most of Acadiana will see a frost, but a light freeze could be possible north of Highway 190 and across central parts of the state.
