COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) – Gasoline ‘price cycling’ reared its ugly head again in central Ohio as the cost of a gallon of gasoline in the Columbus area rose by 20 cents last week.
According to GasBuddy’s survey of 500 stations in the Columbus area, the average price at the pump jumped by 20.2 cents per gallon last week to once again creep above the $3 threshold at $3.11. The current price is 23.3 cents per gallon higher than last month and 38.5 cents per gallon higher than this time one year ago.
