A Chinses Citizen killed in armed attack at Tajikistan-Afghanistan border

A Chinese citizen was killed, and five others, including four Chinese nationals, were injured in a cross-border attack from Afghanistan targeting the Shamsiddin Shohin district of Tajikistan.
Radio Azadi, the Tajik service of Voice of America, reported, citing informant sources, that armed men crossing into Tajikistan from Afghanistan carried out the attack on Monday, November 18.
The motive for the incident remains unclear, and the identities of the attackers have not been confirmed.
