LAFC edge Toluca on a night of high drama at BMO Stadium

April 30 – LAFC and Toluca played out a thrilling Concacaf Champions Cup first leg at BMO Stadium that delivered everything the tie promised.

Three goals, late drama, a six-minute VAR review, and a result that leaves both teams somewhat satisfied heading into next week’s return at the Estadio Nemesio Diez.

Marco dos Santos’s LAFC edged it on the night, but Antonio Mohamed’s Toluca have the away goal that may well decide the tie.
