Los Angeles urges fans to ditch their cars for the World Cup
March 17 – When the World Cup arrives in Los Angeles, local transit officials are betting the easiest and cheapest way to reach the games won’t be behind the wheel.
L.A. County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA), or Metro for short, will provide dedicated matchday service to all eight World Cup fixtures at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood as part of its role as the official public transit provider for the L.A. host committee.
