Gabriela Fundora Remains Lady Of The Flies

Undisputed female flyweight champion Gabriela Fundora retained her crowns for the third time (seven overall) as she broke down WBA interim champion Viviana Ruiz for a TKO victory.

Fundora put Ruiz on the deck in the fourth round with a counter right hand. Ruiz was partially off balance and seemingly unhurt. “Sweet Poison” went on the attack after stunning Ruiz in the fifth, ending the round by trapping her foe on the ropes.

Fundora would not be denied as she kept up the pressure in the sixth round.
