Irish Eyes Are Smiling As Cacace Wins WBA Title From “Jazza” Dickens

Not only was James “Jazza” Dickens looking to defend his WBA junior lightweight title against former IBF champ, Belfast’s Anthony Cacace, he would spoil The St. Patrick’s weekend celebration right there in Dublin where this fight took place.

The first four rounds were back and forth as each mend seemed to alternate winning each frame. Cacace appeared to be pulling his punches, not committing. In the fifth however, Cacace seemed to come alive, landing a good left that knocked Dickens off balance.
