IPL set for two-phase schedule release; Bengaluru likely to host opener & final

The IPL Governing Council has approved the initial phase of the IPL 2026 schedule, with fixtures expected by March 6 or 7. Bengaluru's M. Chinnaswamy Stadium will host the tournament opener and a playoff, while the final is set for May 31. The staggered schedule release is due to pending state election announcements.
