Angola officially opens 10,000-seat Estádio Daniel Cassoma Lutucuta

March 3 – Angola’s latest stadium opening is being framed as more than a ribbon-cutting exercise. The inauguration of the 10,000-seat Estádio Daniel Cassoma Lutucuta in Huambo marks the third internationally compliant arena delivered in the country in the past five months, following new facilities in Uíge and Bengo.

Built by Mitrelli to meet FIFA, UEFA and World Athletics standards, the Huambo venue is part of a broader push to bring Angola’s football infrastructure in line with modern competition requirements.
