SF Giants’ Devers scratched from Friday’s lineup vs. Dodgers with tight left hamstring
SCOTTSDALE, Arizona — First baseman Rafael Devers was scratched from Friday’s lineup against the reigning back-to-back champion Los Angeles Dodgers due to a tight left hamstring.
Devers, who is hitless in eight at-bats this spring, was originally slated to hit second and play first base. Top prospect Bryce Eldridge will take Devers’ spot in the lineup and hit second. The rest of the lineup remains the same and will face World Series MVP Yoshinobu Yamamoto.
