Bay Area News Group boys athlete of the week: Dylan O’Malley, Menlo soccer

Menlo soccer player Dylan O’Malley is the Bay Area News Group’s boys high school athlete of the week for Feb. 16-21.

In online voting that ended at 5 p.m. Wednesday, O’Malley finished with 42.7% of the votes. Evergreen Valley basketball player Donovan Truong took second with 41.9%.

Congratulations to all the candidates for this week’s recognition.

O’Malley goalie tallied 12 saves across two matches in the Knights’ 2-1 CCS Division III overtime victory over Alisal and a 0-0 tie with SHP.
