Bulgarian legend Dimitar Berbatov appointed as advisor to country’s government

February 26 – One of Bulgaria’s most celebrated footballers, Dimitar Berbatov, has been appointed as an adviser to Prime Minister Andrey Gyurov on youth and sports matters.

In his new role, Berbatov will support the government in developing and implementing policies related to sports, active lifestyle, and the development of young people across the country. Notably, he will serve in this capacity without any financial compensation.
