How Liverpool scuppered Inter & Nottingham Forest transfer plans after Frattesi saga
Liverpool played an unexpected role in derailing both Inter and Nottingham Forest’s plans involving Davide Frattesi during the January transfer window.
According to Fabrizio Romano, via FCInter1908, Inter had been working on a potential deal with Liverpool involving Curtis Jones.
The Italian champions had proposed a loan with an option to buy worth €40m, figures similar to the structure of a separate agreement already outlined between Inter and Nottingham Forest for Frattesi.
