Senegal-Morocco AFCON final reaches out to French diaspora with M6 free-to-air deal

January 16 – French broadcaster M6 Group has agreed a sub-licensing deal with beIN Sports that will bring the Africa Cup of Nations final to free-to-air television in France.

The final, this Sunday, will be contested by Senegal and Morocco, and will air simultaneously on beIN’s pay-TV service and on one of M6 Group’s linear channels. beIN, which holds the French rights to the tournament, will keep exclusive coverage of the third-place playoff on January 17 between Egypt and Nigeria.
