Benfica turns former HQ into 56-room Lisbon hotel

January 14 – One of European football’s aristocrats, SL Benfica, has opened the 1904 Benfica Hotel in central Lisbon, turning one of the most important buildings in the club’s history into something people can actually stay in.

Located on Rua do Jardim do Regedor, the hotel sits inside Benfica’s former headquarters and marks a clear step by the club into the hospitality and lifestyle space.
