OFC confirms NZTV+ broadcast deal ahead of inaugural Pro League season

January 8 – The Oceanic Football Confederation (OFC), ahead of the inaugural OFC Pro League campaign which gets underway on January 17 in Auckland, New Zealand, has entered an agreement with TVNZ+ to broadcast matches in the new competition.

All matches involving New Zealand’s two entrants – Auckland FC and South Island United – will be aired by the broadcaster – earning the competition legitimacy in the commercial market.

Eight clubs from seven nations will contest the inaugural season.
