This Should Kill the Alex Bregman to Cubs Rumors

Unless the Chicago Cubs do something out of character you can pretty much forget about the possibility of Alex Bregman signing with them this offseason. Maybe it was already a formality that the Cubs wouldn’t pay up for Bregman and there are probably several fans who didn’t want Bregman in the first place, so this could be viewed as a positive for that sect of the fan base.
