Bove to leave Roma as midfielder attracts interest from the Premier League

Edoardo Bove is set to leave Roma by mutual consent, with the club agreeing to terminate his contract to allow the midfielder to restart his playing career abroad.

The 23-year-old will be forced to continue his career outside Italy due to regulations that prevent players fitted with an implantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD) from competing at professional level domestically.

The same restriction previously affected Christian Eriksen, who left Inter before resuming his career with Brentford and later Manchester United.
