Hockey players finally get an out-of-pocket allowance after years of waiting

Indian hockey players, previously excluded, will now receive a monthly out-of-pocket allowance of Rs 25,000 under the Target Olympic Podium Scheme (TOPS). This decision, approved by the Mission Olympic Cell (MOC), benefits 80 players from both the men's and women's national teams.
